Chelsea have told Inter Milan they will not accept less than £60 million for midfielder N’Golo Kanté.
The French World Cup winner has been linked with a move away from West London as Frank Lampard tries to rebalance his squad and recoup some money after the club’s £230 million summer spending spree.
The Serie A side are desperate to sign the 29-year old, but will now need to sell players if they are to fund his purchase, with Ivan Perišić, João Mário, and Dalbert Henrique some of the names that could give way.
Inter manager Antonio Conte is a big fan of Kanté who he signed from Leicester City when Chelsea boss in 2016 and believes that acquiring him would help his side challenge Juventus for the Serie A side in the coming season.
Kanté is under contract at Stamford Bridge until 2023 and is reported to be reluctant to leave the club.
