Inter Milan want to buy Spurs midfielder Tanguy Ndombélé.
However, in order to do a deal Spurs will have to reduce their £55 million valuation of the player.
That is the price that they paid Lyon for him just last year, a club record fee. However, he has failed to adapt to life in the Premier League, and his attitude has been called into question more than once by Jose Mourinho.
Ndombélé also found himself in trouble with the UK authorities, after several lockdown breaches.
Selling the 25-year old would give Mourinho more room to operate in the transfer window, although the arrival of Matt Doherty from Wolves in a £15 million deal has now been confirmed, He has become the third signing of the summer, after Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg who has arrived from Southampton, and free transfer Joe Hart.
Inter have made strengthening their midfield a summer transfer priority.
