Manchester United Joel Pereira has joined EFL Championship side Huddersfield Town on a season long loan.
The 24-year old has made three senior first-team appearances for United, although it has been nearly three years since the last of those, an EFL Cup tie against Burton Albion in September 2017.
This will be the sixth loan move for the Portugal under-21 international since he has been at United, He previously played for Rochdale, Belenses, Vitoria Setubal, and Kortrijk.
His most recent spell was with Hearts in the Scottish Premier League, for whom he made 20 league appearances, and a further five in cup competitions.
United’s other senior keepers at the club are David de Gea, Sergio Romero, Kee Grant and Nathan Bishop, as well as Dean Henderson who has signed a new five-year deal with the club worth £100,000 a week, but who is tipped for another loan move himself away from Old Trafford for the coming season.
