Malang Sarr looks like he will be the latest player to join Chelsea this summer.
Reports in France suggest that the French under-21 international has agreed a four-year deal with the West London club, and will be travelling to London to have his medical with them, and tie-up the other formalities.
Sarr has been a free agent after deciding against renewing his contract at Ligue 1 side Nice, the club he joined as a boy, and for whom he made 119 appearances in all competitions. He was wanted by clubs across Europe, but Chelsea now appear to have won the race for his signature.
It looks like being a busy few days at Stamford Bridge. A deal to sign Thiago Silva from PSG is also set to be finalised whilst the club are close to securing an agreement with Bayer Leverkusen for the services of German international midfielder Kai Havertz.
Frank Lampard’s men have already signed Hakim Ziyech from Ajax, and Timo Werner from RB Leipzig.
