Barcelona have been linked with moves for two of Manchester City’s defenders.
They have already made Eric García, their former academy player, one of their main summer targets. The 19-year old is in the final year of his current contract at The Etihad.
But now they have also expressed an interest in his compatriot Angelinho as well. The Spanish under-21 international spent the second half of last season on loan in the Bundesliga with RB Leipzig and helped them reach the semi-finals of the Champions League.
Valued at £25 million, Leipzig have already expressed an interest in signing him on a permanent deal, but now Barcelona may be ready to intervene.
Newly appointed manager Ronald Koeman is beginning the difficult task of rebuilding an ageing squad at the Nou Camp, and both García and Angelinho are just some of the names which have been linked, with a major overhaul of personnel expected there.
