Manchester United youngster Tahith Chong wants to leave the club – despite having signed a new deal with them as recently as March.
At the time, the 20-year old rejected interest from Juventus, Inter Milan and Barcelona to remain with the Premier League club, but the lack of first-team opportunities under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer continues to be an issue.
And now Bundesliga side Werder Bremen have expressed an interest in bringing him to the Bundesliga, with the player reported to be open to a move to Germany.
He is not the first United player to want to leave the club because they cannot see a path to regular first-team football. Angel Gomes, who left the club when his own contract expired at the end of June, has now signed with French club Lille -although the 19-year old he has immediately been sent out on loan to Portuguese club Boavista for the coming season.
