Manchester City’ summer transfer business is by no means finished.
They have already agreed deals for Valencia winger Ferran Torres and Bournemouth defender Nathan Aké who has signed from the club in a £41 million deal.
However. They are hoping to sign at least four more players, and are hoping to have all their acquisitions on board by the time that the new season starts.
Top of their shopping list is another central defender, with Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibay heading their wish list, although a deal for him is some way off.
They are also in the market for a left-back, with neither Benjamin Mendy nor Oleksandr Zinchenko convincing long-term solutions in the role for Pep Guardiola.
Further up the pitch, replacements are being sought for the departing David Silva, and striker Sergio Agüero, who still has a year left on his current contract with City , but who has been linked with a move back to Argentina when that comes to an end.
One name that has been linked with a move to the Etihad is Joao Felix, who endured a difficult first season with Atlético Madrid, after his £113 move from Benfica last year.
