Manchester United have finally got rid of Alexis Sanchez.
That is after a deal was reached with Inter Milan which will see the Serie A club convert his loan into a permanent move for a fee of £13.5 million.
It is expected that the move will be announced later this week.
The 31-year old moved to the Serie A side on loan at the start of the last season and they have now seen enough to convince them to keep him permanently.
Sanchez will take a huge pay cut, with his annual £13.5 million wages spread over a three-year deal.
The news will come as a huge relief for United because it gets his massive £500,000 a week wages off their books, even though Inter partially subsidised them during the most recent campaign.
And it also brings an end to a career that promised at Old Trafford when he joined from Arsenal in January 2018, but ultimately delivered so little.
