Arsenal are panning a summer clear-out of players, as they look to raise the funds needed for Mikel Arteta to rebuild his squad.
And that could see a number of players who featured in Saturday’s FA Cup triumph over Chelsea depart the club this summer.
They include French striker Alexander Lacazette, and right-back and club vice-captain Hector Bellerin, if a decent offer is made for him. Also, up for sale are Rob Holding, who deputised for the injured Shkodran Mustafi on Saturday, as well as fellow defenders Sokratis and Sad Kolasinac, both of whom appeared as late substitutes.
They would also like to sell Mustafi, whilst Matteo Guendouzi, Lucas Torreira and Henrikh Mkhitaryan will also be allowed to leave.
Another man they would dearly love to get off their books is Mesut Ozil, who has not featured for Arteta since the lockdown. However, his agent has made it clear that he wants to see out his contract and intends to stay in North London.
