Inter Milan are considering offering Croatian international Ivan Perišić to Manchester United as part of a deal to make the loan move for Alexis Sanchez permanent.
Sanchez, after a difficult start to life in Italy at Milan has come good since the resumption of football, and now Inter want him to stay long-term.
United, whilst they have no plans for him back in Manchester, do not want to sanction another loan, and, in a bid to put pressure on the Italian club, have indicated that they may not allow him to play for them when the Europa league starts again on August 5th.
Now the Serie A side are mulling over including Perišić as part of any deal. The 30-year-old has made 163 appearances for Inter and scored 40 goals, but spent last season on loan with Bayern Munich, where he helped them win the domestic league and cup double.
However, the German side are unlikely to exercise their £4.5 million option to buy him, making him available.
