Tottenham Hotspur are leading the race to sign Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson.
The England forward played what potentially may have been his last game for the South Coast club on Sunday, their 3 -1 win at Everton not enough to ensure their Premier League survival. And, with Bournemouth now returning to the Championship after five years in the top-flight, many of their biggest assets could now be sold.
Although they have resisted previous offers for King, his current salary of £110,000 a week is one that they want to get off their books now they must exist on lower revenue in the Championship.
Ryan Fraser has already left them on a free transfer, and Nathan Aké is being linked with a move to Manchester City.
As for Wilson, who has previously been connected with Chelsea, they are looking for a reliable back-up for Harry Kane and believe they could sign King for as little at £10 million.
