Midfielder Oliver Skipp has signed a new four-year deal with Tottenham.
The 19-year old is now likely to go out on loan next season, in order to give him more first-team experience.
The Tottenham academy graduate has found it hard to break into the team under Jose Mourinho, with a brief cameo in the derby victory over Arsenal, the only minutes he has played since lockdown.
However, Mourinho still rates him highly describing him as a “future Tottenham captain”
The England under-21 international joined the Spurs academy system when he was 12 years old and made his first-team debut in an EFL Cup Win over West Ham in October 2018.
He has since gone on to make 21 appearances for them in all competitions, but it has now been agreed that the next phase of his development should take place away from North London, either at another Premier League club or in the Championship.
