There have been reports that Matteo Guendouzi could be involved in a player swap deal with Philippe Coutinho this summer.
Guendouzi has not played for Arsenal since the defeat at Brighton, during which match he allegedly taunted the home players with how much he earned. There have been reports of disciplinary problems with the 21-year-old Frenchman, who is currently training by himself at the Gunners training ground at London Colney.
Meanwhile, Barcelona are desperate to get Coutinho off their books, after Bayern Munich decided not to take up their option to buy after his loan move with the German champions ended.
Despite his recent problems, Guendouzi is still highly rated, and Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain (where he started as a youngster) are all tracking his situation.
However, a swap with Barcelona for the former Liverpool man, who has no apparent future at the Nou Camp, could suit all parties to the deal.
