Borussia Dortmund are expecting Manchester United to bid for Jadon Sancho if the Premier League club secures qualification for next season’s Champions League.
Currently, United are in a three-way tussle with Leicester and Chelsea for the two remaining Champions League places, although Wolves still have an outside chance of sneaking into contention as well.
United travel to Leicester for the last game of the season, and that could yet turn into a winner take all encounter.
However, if United do succeed in their ambitions, they are likely to make a mega-bid in the region of £109 million for England winger Sancho, which would be a club record for both teams.
Sancho has long been linked with a move to Old Trafford, and is widely regarded as one of the most talented young players in Europe, He has scored 20 goals in 46 appearances for them this season, with 18 assists to his name as well, and was named in the Bundesliga team of the season last campaign.
