Tottenham have been linked with a summer swoop for Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma, although Everton also are interested in making a move for their former player.
The 25-year-old Frenchman has spent most of the season out of favour at Stamford Bridge, although he has recently earned a recall and started the last two games under Frank Lampard.
Despite this, the Stamford Bridge side continue to be linked with a new centre-half, with Declan Rice amongst the players targeted.
Now he could be in line with a reunion with Jose Mourinho, who gave him his debut when Chelsea boss, and who is in the market for defensive reinforcements.
Zouma is also wanted by Everton, a club he knows well having spent a year on loan there during the 2019 – 2020 season.
A stumbling block to either deal going through could be price – Chelsea are believed to want £25 million for the French international.
