Juventus have offered Chelsea a choice of two players as well as cash as they try to secure a deal to bring midfielder Jorginho back to Italy.
The midfielder is wanted by Maurizio Sarri, having worked together when they were both at Napoli, and, in order to sweeten the potential move, the Serie A side are prepared to offer either Adrien Rabiot or Aaron Ramsey in part-exchange.
Striking a deal may be difficult, however. Apart from agreeing a valuation for the players in question, Juventus will want to stagger any cash payments they have to make because of their financial situation.
Chelsea will also not want to accept less than the £58 million they paid Napoli for the Italian international two years ago.
Other players who could also form part of a deal are full-back Alex Sandro and winger Douglas Costa, but they could also be used in a swap deal involving Emerson Palmeiri.
