Barcelona have enquired about the availability of Tottenham duo Tanguy Ndombélé and Ryan Sessegnon and want to use them in player exchange deals.
Both are wanted by the Spanish club although, because they are facing financial problems, they are only willing to acquire them in deals which would see players move the other way, with a cash top-up to make up the difference.
Tottenham are publicly unwilling to part for either of them, who they bought for a collective £70 million last summer, but neither is happy with his lot under Jose Mourinho.
Ndombélé, the club’s record signing, has seen both his attitude and fitness questioned by the coach, whilst Sessegnon, despite being highly rated, has been given very few first team opportunities by the Portuguese.
Earlier this week, Mourinho preferred the untested 18-year old Dennis Cirkin to sit on the bench for the Premier League match against Everton ahead of Sessegnon.
