Striker Alexander Lacazette has been linked with a summer move away from Arsenal with a number oi top European clubs interested in signing him.
They include Juventus and AC Milan, whilst long-standing admirers Atlético Madrid are willing to include the Frenchman in any deal which will see central midfielder Thomas Partey come the other way.
Lacazette has fallen behind Eddie Nketiah in the pecking order at the Emirates recently, after a string of indifferent performances, and his goal against Wolves at Molineux on Saturday was his first away from home since February 2019.
His current manager Mikel Arteta has refused to discuss openly his future at the present time, because, with the games continuing to come thick and fast “it’s no time to talk a lot about contract situations”.
The forward, who was the club’s Player of the Year last season is under contract in North London until the summer of 2022.
