Manchester United target Donny van de Beek has been told that he can leave his current club Ajax once the summer transfer window opens.
The 23 year old Dutch international midfielder has two years left on his current deal with the Eredivisie side, but they are reconciled to the fact that he will leave this in the coming months, along with some of the club’s other top talent, like goalkeeper Andre Onana, and left back Nicolás Tagliafico, both of whom have been linked with a move to Chelsea.
United want a creative midfielder this summer, and van de Beek, who scored 8 goals and provided 6 assists for Ajax in the past campaign until the Dutch league season was cancelled, is top of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s wish list.
The Premier League club are not likely to have things their own way though – Real Madrid are also eyeing up a move for the Ajax academy graduate.
