Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish could well be moving to Manchester this summer.
However, whether it will be United or City that wins the race for his signature remains to be seen.
The 24 year old has long been on the United radar, with some reports suggesting that a move to Old Trafford is imminent. But now comes news that neighbours City could make a move for him after it was confirmed that Leroy Sane will be allowed to join Bayern Munich.
Pep Guardiola has previously expressed his admiration for Grealish describing him as “one of the best players in the league”, and with Sane set to move back to Germany, he could look to bring in the much in demand England under-21 international in his place.
Grealish is not a like for like replacement but offers versatility, because he can play either on the left wing or centre midfield. He is also of interest because he would boost the home-grown quota of players at the Etihad.
