Wolves star Raul Jimenez admits that the interest he is attracting from Manchester United is motivating him on to be a better player as the season heads for a restart and that he will be on the top of his game for the final nine fixtures.
Jimenez has had a great season so far playing 44 games and scoring 22 goals in all competitions which is an improvement on his 17 goals he scored last season whilst on-loan from Portuguese side Benfica.
The Mexican international has been attracting interest from a host of clubs that include Real Madrid, Juventus, Liverpool and both Manchester sides.
Speaking with Portuguese outlet BolaVIP Raul Jimenez had this to say about the interest he is attracting
“’It is something very cool. Different teams like Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus, Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool – they are teams that are important in football history.
“It is an incredible thing to be on the radar and on the lips of those teams.
“They are rumours but it is something good for me to continue growing, making an effort and taking it as an incentive so that, if possible, I can achieve it.
“That they are mentioning you there, whether you want to or not, some rumor will come to them as well so the opportunity can be opened.”
After paying £30million for Jimenez in the summer Wolves will be looking for a big payout on him if he is to leave for a bigger club, he still has three years left to run on his current contract and after making more improvements on his game this season, a huge asking price could be something that will be put across the table in proceedings.
Jimenez will be in action when Wolves return to Premier League football on Saturday away against West Ham United.
