Manchester United step up £75m chase for the 24-year old

Manchester United hit a roadblock in the hunt for Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho as he explained he would only sign for United if they qualified for the Champions League next season, so the Red Devils are heading for the next best thing.

Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish is in United sightlines according to The Daily Mail in a £75m chase for the highly-rated winger.

The 24-year old has been an essential player for Villa so far this campaign, playing 27 games, scoring 7 goals and providing 6 assists for the strugglers, he truly is a shining light in a dark season for The Villians as they sit 19th in the Premier League table.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ed Woodward are said to be very interested in the classy winger due to his young age and the talent he has behind him.

Grealish is understood to be wanting a move away from Villa this summer and a £75m package for the Midlands side would be very welcome to them whether they are in the Premier League or the Championship for next season.

He would be a great addition for United and not only does he offer quality right from the get go he also has a lot of potential too.
