Italian clubs Juventus and Roma are vying to sign Chelsea winger Pedro.
The 33 year old Spaniard is out of contract at Stamford Bridge on June 230th, and available on a free transfer, although, like many players in his position, is expected to sign a short-term deal that will enable him to finish the rescheduled Premier League season with Frank Lampard’s men.
Roma have been leading the chase for the former Barcelona player, but now they have joined by Juventus, with Pedro having played under manager Maurizio Sarri during his spell in West London, making 52 appearances, and scoring 13 goals under the Italian. He also helped him clinch the Europa League last season.
In addition, Sarri has a reputation for signing former players, whilst the Serie A league leaders have a history of signing players on a free transfer, with Aaron Ramsey, Emre Can and Sami Khedira being a few recent examples.
