Arsenal are reported as having made contact with the agent of Moussa Diaby about a potential transfer for the Bayer Leverkusen winger.
The 20-year old under-21 French international only signed for the Bundesliga side last summer, after leaving his boyhood club Paris Saint Germain because he wanted to play regular first-team football. He has made a strong start to life in Germany scoring five times in 27 games, and providing eight assists, including two on Monday night as his side made a winning return to league action by winning 4 -1 away at Werder Bremen.
Despite still having four years left on his current deal with Leverkusen, suitors are already liming-up for Diaby, with Borussia Dortmund said to be particularly interested, especially if they need to find a replacement for Jadon Sancho.
However, Arsenal are the early favourites to sign him because they have a strong personal relationship with his agent, and the player himself wants to come to the Premier League.
