Arsenal are interested in signing Justin Kluivert from Roam, and could swap him for Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
Armenian international Mkhitryan joined Roma on a season-long loan last August, and had done enough before the suspension of the Italian campaign to convince the Serie A team that they wanted to make the deal permanent.
The Gunners are willing to sell him, but a sticking point so far has been Arsenal’s insistence on a fee of £10 million for Mkhitaryan, who they acquired in a another Swap deal when Alexis Sanchez joined Manchester United.
Now a solution could be found in the shape of 21 year old Kluivert, who has previously been linked with a move to the Emirates, although Arsenal would need to pay a fee on top for a player who has yet to hit the heights in Italy, but was rated amongst the best young talents in Europe when he joined them from Ajax two years ago.
Both men share the same agent Mino Raiolo, which would make a swap deal easier to engineer.
