Arsenal have been linked with 19 year old Bayern Munich midfielder Angelo Stiller.
He has been playing since January with the German’s club reserve side, having previously caught the eye in their UEFA Youth League campaign where he provided six assists. Previously he came to the attention of the Gunners having appeared against them in a pre-season friendly, and they have been keeping tables on him ever since.
The defensive midfielder has impressed with his range of passing, but he has no prospect of first team football in the immediate future at the Allianz Arena.
That means that they may be prepared to let him join Arsenal, provided that any deal contains a buy-back option.
His current deal in Munich expires in 2021, so they would rather sell now for a price rather than risk him leaving for a free in 12 months’ time.
