Chelsea winger Willian is in talks with Liverpool about a shock move to Anfield.
The 31 year old Brazilian is available on a tree transfer this summer, with his current deal at Chelsea coming to an end, and discussions about an extension at an impasse. The West London club are only prepared to offer him a new two year contract, whilst Willian is holding out for three.
He had been linked with a move to Barcelona, but the Spanish club have decided they cannot afford his wages, and whilst both Arsenal and Tottenham have previously expressed an interest, that has since cooled.
However, now Liverpool are ready to step in and make a move for him, with Jurgen Klopp looking to strengthen his squad by adding competition in wide areas.
Willian though has promised to complete the season with Chelsea out of loyalty to a club for whom he has made 226 Premier League appearances since his 2013 move from Shaktar Donetsk.
