Both Arsenal and Manchester United have been linked with a move for French midfielder Corentin Toliso, who plays for Bayern Munich.
The 25 year old was part of the French World Cup squad that one the World Cup in 2018, but has fallen out of favour since Hans-Dieter Frank took over at the Allianz Arena, and has started just seven games under the new manager. Prior to that his progress had been hampered by a string of injuries, and is now looking to rejuvenate his career with a move away from the Bundesliga champions.
Juventus, Atlético Madrid and Napoli are all interested in signing him this summer, but he has dropped a hint that he believes that the Premier League would suit his style, and was previously connected with a move to the Emirates before joining the German side in June 2017 from Lyon.
The Gunners have identified midfield as one of the key areas they want to strengthen, whilst United are preparing for life without Paul Pogba.
