Atlético Madrid are interested in signing Arsenal striker Alexander Lacazette.
That is according to the Spanish press who indicate that the La Liga side could be ready to make a move for the 28 year old in the summer.
This is by no means the first time that Lacazette has been linked with a move to Atlético. The first time was when he was still playing for Lyon and were the front-runners to sign him, until Arsenal paid what was then a club record for him in July 2017.
More recently, he was one of several strikers in their sights in the January window, only for them to focus all their energy on what proved to be an abortive attempt to sign Edison Cavani from PSG.
He is under contract until 2022 at the Emirates, but, having managed just nine goals in 26 appearances for Arsenal this season, there have been suggestions they could be willing to sell him to raise funds to boost Mikel Arteta’s squad.
