Manchester United are prepared to sell Jesse Lingard in the summer.
The 27 year old England player has reportedly lost the confidence of his manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who is unhappy with his lack of application in training, and also his diminished output on the pitch – he has scored just twice in his last 35 games for the club.
At the same time, Lingard’s relationship with a section of the United fan base has broken down, with a vocal minority of them heavily critical of him on social media.
And now, with the arrival of Bruno Fernandes at the club and Lingard relegated to a back-up role, the club feels that now may be the opportune to sell him, and use the funds raised to help boost their summer transfer funds.
To that end, they are prepared to use the services of super-agent Mino Raiola to try and find a suitable move for him.
