Manchester United have identified Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish and are ready to make him a bumper offer in the summer.
Grealish has been one of the bright lights for Villa ini what has been a difficult first season back in the Premier League, and is widely expected to leave them at the end of the summer, whether they succeed in beating the drop or not.
Both Manchester clubs are interested in signing him, but it is United who are regarded as favourite, as they are prepared to offer him £150,000 a week, triple what he currently earns with his boyhood club.
However, Grealish will not come cheap. He only signed a new five year deal at Villa Park last summer, and is expected to cost at least £60 million.
Grealish skippered Villa in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday, but had a quiet game and could noty prevent his side slipping to a 2 -1 defeat to Manchester City.
