Inter Milan are not prepared to sign Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez full-time until Manchester United drop their asking price for him.
They also want the 31 year old to show improved form, with coach Antonio Conté yet to be fully convinced by his performances this season.
Sanchez moved to the Serie A club on a season long loan in August, but has since struggled with injury, and has made just 13 appearances in all competitions, scoring just once against Sampdoria in September, a match in which he was subsequently sent off for diving,
United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has previously said that the club want to bring Sanchez back to Old Trafford at the end of his loan spell, and to reintegrate him within the squad. However, that there are suggestions that this is just a negotiating ploy, and that they have no intention of taking him back, but are just trying to increase his valuation.
