Hakim Ziyech has officially put pen to paper and signed a five year deal with Chelsea.
It was announced earlier this month that the Moroccan international had agreed to join the West London club from Ajax in the summer for a fee of £33 million, subject to personal terms.
Those terms now having been agreed, Ziyech has signed the contract and will become a Chelsea player at the end of this season.
Ziyech is Frank Lampard’s first signing as Chelsea manager, and is regarded as a replacement for Eden Hazard, whose ability to both score and create goals has been sorely missed at Stamford Bridge this season.
The winger has scored 49 times for Ajax and has provided more than 20 assists in each of the last three series for the Eredivisie club. The Dutch side have already signed his replacement, with 19 year old Brazilian Anthony joining them from Sao Paulo.
