Inter Milan are considering making a summer move for Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The 30 year old forward will have one year left on his current contract at the Emirates in the summer, and. although he has been offered a new deal, has shown no indication that he is prepared to do so, wanting to play in the Champions League instead.
That may force the Gunners to sell him in order to realise some return on their investment, because they do not want to let players ruin down their contracts any more, having learned from bitter experience the cost of that from examples like Aaron Ramsey and Danny Welbeck.
What Barcelona decide to do may hold the key. They are widely believed to have made Inter striker Lautero Martinez their number one transfer target. If they do decided to move for him, Inter will look to sign Aubameyang as his replacement.
