Although Norwich City’s tenure in the Premier League is likely to be a brief one, with the East Anglian club odds on to go straight back down, there have been some bright spots for last year’s EFL champions.
One has been the form of 21 year old midfielder Todd Cantwell, who has scored six goals and provided 2 assists in 24 Premier League games.
Predictably, his performances have not gone unnoticed, and Tottenham, Manchester City and neighbours United have all expressed their interest in signing him when the season ends.
However, the favourites to land him are Champions-in-waiting Liverpool, who are reported to have ramped up their interest in signing him since the January window closed, although, officially at least, they are not allowed to make a formal approach until the summer.
Norwich are unlikely to stand ion his way if they do get relegated, but will want at least £30 million for their prized assets.
