Adam Lallana set to leave Liverpool

Adam Lallana is set to leave Liverpool at the end of this season.

The 31 year old is out of contract at Anfield at the end of the season. And although he has been offered an extension, he is set to reject it because of lack of guarantees over playing time,

After struggling with injuries in recent seasons, Lallana is fully fit again, but has struggled to break in to the Liverpool first team. He has made 19 appearances in all competitions this season, but that includes just 3 starts in the Premier League, and he wants to play more, Manager Jurgen Klopp is a self-confessed fan of the former Southampton player, but finds it hard to make room for him in his starting XI.

His potential availability is likely to provoke a scramble for his signature, with Leicester City, Tottenham, Arsenal and West Ham all reported to be interested. However, Leicester may be in pole position because they are the most likely to be playing Champions League football next season, and because their manager, Brendan Rogers, was the one who signed him to Liverpool when he was in charge at Anfield.
