Paul Pogba still wants to leave Manchester United.
The 26 year old World Cup winner has made only five Premier League starts this season, with his participation limited by a persistent ankle injury. He is due to return to action after the club’s Premier League break, although there are some of his colleagues who are sceptical about that after several false dawns.
However, his days at Old Trafford appear to be numbered anyway, with Pogba making it clear to his team mates that he does not expect to be at the club next season.
He spent most of last summer being associated with a move away from Manchester, with Real Madrid and former club Juventus both linked with him. In the end nothing materialised, but Real could well be in for him again at the end of this campaign, with manager Zinedine Zidane a big admirer of the midfielder.
