Arsenal are interested in signing 19 year old Turkish midfielder Orkun Kökçü who plays for Dutch side Feyenoord.
The Turkey under-21 international is viewed as an emerging talent of European football, and has been scouted regularly by the Gunners over the past 18 months.
He is under contract until 2023, but the Eredivisie side are willing to cash in on him in the summer, although they are likely to demand a fee in excess of £15 million for him.
Kökçü is likely to form part of the Turkey squad for Euro 2020, and Arsenal may want to tray and sign him early before that event starts in case he has a good tournament and that increases the demand for him and hence the price.
Kökçü, who was born in the Netherlands to parents of Turkish descent, joined Feyenoord as a 14 year old, and made his debut for the senior side in 2018.
