Christian Eriksen has completed his move from Tottenham Hotspur to Inter Milan.
It finally brings to an end one of the most protracted sagas of the transfer window, with the 27 year old bringing down the curtain on his six and a half year stay in North London.
The deal was concluded on Tuesday, after the Dane passed his medical at the San Siro on Monday, with him putting pen to paper on a four and a half year deal, which will reportedly see him earn £170,000 a week.
As part of the deal, Eriksen’s former club Ajax will receive a €1 million (£837 k) solidarity payment. There will also be a friendly between Inter and Spurs, with all proceeds going to the North London club.
Eriksen is the third Premier League player to arrive at Inter in the past week, after Manchester United’s Ashley Young, and Victor Moses from Chelsea.
