Dani Ceballos wants to cut short his loan spell with Arsenal, and his asked his parent club Real Madrid to find him another team.
Ceballos was signed on a season long loan by the Gunners in the summer, and made a strong initial impression at the Emirates, quickly earning the support of his new fans.
However, like the rest of the squad, he lost his way under Unai Emery, and was in and out of the team. He has not played since picking up a hamstring injury playing against Vitoria in the Europa League on November 8th.
Now back in training, he has yet to feature under new manager Mikel Arteta, who, although he has had some warm words to say about his compatriot, has made it clear that Ceballos is not yet at the level of fitness he demands from his players.
The 22 year old is worried that his lack of first team football could jeopardise his chances of being picked for Spain for Euro 2020.
