Arsenal are closing in on a deal for PSG left-back Layvin Kurwaza who currently plays for PSG.
The Gunners are in advanced talks with the Ligue 1 champions and hope to complete the deal soon for the 27 year old who has got just six months left on his contract.
That means that he would be available for free in the summer, but Arsenal are prepared to pay a nominal fee to bring him to the Emirates now, because they have a crisis at left-back. Summer signing Kiernan Tierney is out until at least March, and Sead Kolasinac is also struggling with injury.
Kurwaza joined PSG from Monaco in 2015 for a fee of around £18 million and, during his time in Paris he has won three league titles, the French Cup three times, and also the League Cup on three occasions. However, he has lost his place in the first-team to Juan Bernat, and is ready to move on for regular football again.
He has 12 international caps for France, but was not part of their World Cup winning squad.
