Inter Milan have offered Christian Eriksen a four year deal, and want to sign him in the current transfer window.
Representatives of the Serie A club met with Eriksen’s agent, Martin Schoots, on Friday to offer him the lucrative deal in a hope to tempt him to make the move in the current window.
In addition, they are prepared to offer Spurs £17 million for his services to sign him now, even though they know that, if they wait until the summer, they can sign him for nothing as he will be available on a free contract.
However, Inter are not the only club interested in signing him. French champions PSG also want him and they, in turn, are due to meet with Schoots in the next few days to discuss his availability.
Eriksen has previously been linked with a move to La Liga, but the interest of Spanish clubs Real Madrid and Barcelona appears to have cooled.
