Reports in Brazil have linked Arsenal with a move for teenage right-back Yan Coutho.
The 17 year old has yet to make a senior appearance for his club side Coritiba, but he has been a regular for Brazil at youth level, and was one of the stars of the side that won the under-17 World Cup last November.
Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen are also interested in signing the Coutho, with the Brazilian club slapping a £4.2 million price tag on the defender, although he would not be able to move to Europe until he turns 18 in June.
With his contract expiring at the end of the year, Coritiba are expected to sell the teenager imminently to realise full value for him.
Arsenal have already made a successful foray into the youth market in Brazil, picking up striker Gabriel Martinelli from fourth-tier side Ituano in the summer, a deal that is already looking like a shrewd bit of business by the Gunners.
