Mikel Arteta has met with Eddie Nketiah to discuss his next move.
The 20-year old striker spent the first half of the season on loan with Leeds United, but, despite scoring 5 goals in 19 appearances with the Yorkshire club, the Gunners decided to recall him over his lack of game time, with the forward only starting two games for the promotion hopefuls.
Now he is expected to spend the second half of the season with another Championship club, with Bristol City, who narrowly missed out on him in the summer, amongst the favourites to sign him this time round.
They are likely to face competition though from the likes of Brentford, Nottingham Forest and Sheffield Wednesday, all of whom are interested in acquiring the services of the highly rated England under-21 international.
