Crystal Palace are not prepared to sell Chelsea target Wilfried Zaha for less than £80 million.
The 27 year old Ivory Coast international was heavily linked with moves to both Arsenal and Everton in the summer, but, in the end, despite the winger wanting to leave, he ended up staying at Selhurst Park because neither club could match their valuation of him.
And they are refusing to budge on the £80 million price tag they have slapped on his head, not least because Manchester United inserted a 25% sell-on clause when they sold him back to the South London club in 2017.
Zaha is under contract until 2023, but has made no secret of the fact that he wants to leave his boyhood club and move to one of the big teams, despite his move to United, where he was Sir Alex Ferguson’s last major signing, not panning out, lasting only a season at Old Trafford before returning to Palace again, initially on loan.
