Inter Milan have been linked with a January move for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Antonio Conte, Inter’s boss, is reported to be a big fan of the Gabonese striker, and the Serie A side are monitoring his position at the Emirates.
Aubameyang is out of contract with the Gunners at the end of the 2021 season, and, although the Gunners want him to sign a new deal, he put talks on hold whilst the fate of former boss Unai Emery was in doubt. The forward has recently taken over the captaincy at Arsenal following Granit Xhaka being stripped of that role, but it is not clear if the appointment of Freddie Ljundberg as interim boss will convince him to extend his stay in North London.
There is some doubt about whether Inter could afford to move for Aubameyang in the January window anyway, having spent £72 million to acquire Romelu Lukaku from Manchester United in the summer.
