Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny has been rejected by Serie A side AC Milan after offering them his services.
The 27-year old Egyptian international is currently on loan with Turkish side Beşiktaş, but has so far failed to impress during his time in the Super Lig, picking up a red card on his debut, and earning himself a three match suspension.
However, he does not have much of a future at Arsenal either, having fallen down the pecking order with the arrival of Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi last year, and the emergence of Joe Willock this season.
Therefore, he has taken matters into his own hands, and has contacted a number of clubs via intermediaries to see if they would be interested in him.
One of those clubs was struggling AC Milan, but they have spurned his approaches on the grounds that he would similarly struggle for a first team place with them as he does with Arsenal.
