Willian is set to turn down the offer of a new two year contract at Chelsea in favour of securing his dream move to Barcelona.
The 31 year old winger is out of contract at Stamford Bridge in the summer, and manager Frank Lampard has made no secret of the fact that he wants to keep the Brazilian international at the club.
However, with reports that he has instructed his agents to “slow down” talks over a contract renewal with the Chelsea hierarchy, there seems to be a strong possibility that he will leave the club at the end of the season for Spain.
He has been linked with a move to Barcelona for some time, and because he will be a free agent at the end of June, he will be able to talk to representatives of the Spanish club in January, and even sign a pre-contract agreement with them.
