AC Milan are interested in signing Granit Xhaka in January.
The midfielder has not played for Arsenal since reacting badly to the Emirates crow when substituted in the league match with Crystal Palace, with his behaviour subsequently leading to him being stripped of the club captaincy.
That has led to suggestions that Arsenal will look to the 27 year old in January, because his relationship with the club’s fan base is so fractured that he will not play for the team again.
Former Arsenal CEO Ivan Gazidis is now the man in charge at Milan, and now he could be the man to broker the deal to take Xhaka to the Serie A side, who are struggling themselves, having already been through one manager this season. Marco Giampaolo was sacked after just three and a half months in charge, to be replaced by Stefano Pioli.
There are rumours that Xhaka has already begun house hunting in Milan.
