Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kanté has dismissed speculation linking him with a move to Real Madrid, insisting that he is happy at Stamford Bridge and could even end his career there.
The 28 year old Frenchman is under contract until 2023, but that has not stopped rumours of a potential bid from the Spanish giants circulating.
However, the World Cup winner, who won back to back Premier League titles with Leicester and Chelsea remains a vital part of Frank Lampard’s plans, returning to the team on Saturday for the win against Crystal Palace after a spell out with injury.
The player himself said “Today at Chelsea, I have had three wonderful years winning titles. I think that it is a club that has helped me a lot and I hope that I will be able to win a lot more titles here.”
The defensive midfielder, who joined Chelsea from Leicester in July 2016 for a fee of £32 million, has made 149 appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring 10 goals for them. He was the PFA Players’ Player of the Year for the 2016 – 2017 season.
